How much does the Egnyte Content Services Platform cost?
Egnyte has three different pricing plans: office, business and enterprise. The full pricing can be found here.
The Egnyte secure, hybrid, and open architecture meets the needs of both business users and IT, regardless of whether an organization has files stored on premises, in the cloud or both. Egnyte’s flexible architecture enables organizations to select any combination of three deployment models: cloud, on–premises or hybrid — designed to fit within an organizations IT environment and protect their past investments. Egnyte Connect provides business agility to users and cost efficiency to IT, while meeting compliance requirements, increasing security and removing vendor lock–in.
Egnyte has data centers across the United States and Europe. Multiple copies of each customer file exist within Egnyte data centers, and all data is encrypted at rest. In addition, Egnyte works with third–party cloud storage solutions such as Amazon Web Services, Google, Microsoft Azure, EMC, NetApp and others to provide complete flexibility for customer data storage both on–premises and in the cloud.
How does the Egnyte Platform differ from other solutions on the market?
The Egnyte Platform is an industry–leading file sync and sharing platform that provides users access to 100% of their files and IT the ability to manage files that are in the cloud versus on–premises. With Egnyte, users have a simple way to access files, regardless of where they are stored. Egnyte key differentiators include:
- Security – Egnyte is built with the enterprise in mind. It provides enterprise–grade scalability and security, performance and usability.
- Hybrid – Egnyte supports a true hybrid model where an individual file has a copy in the cloud, as well as on–premises that is always in sync. This enables users to access the file from their location of choice, providing the best performance for the user, as well as optimized bandwidth usage keeping business costs under control. An example of this is construction where large construction blue print files can be accessed locally on–site or directly from an office location, without ever having to go to the cloud.
- Open
- User Experience: Egnyte empowers users to collaborate in real–time, anywhere they are, using their favorite productivity apps such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Office for desktop or mobile, Salesforce, Google Apps, Smartsheets, DocuSign and others.
- Flexible Customer Environments for Content Repositories: Egnyte allows businesses to standardize on their cloud provider of choice such as Google, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure as well as leverage their on–premises storage infrastructure such as EMC, NetApp and others while still ensuring users can continue accessing business critical content at all times.
How does the Egnyte's content governance solution differ from other solutions on the market?
The Egnyte Platform extends content governance beyond a single repository and even beyond Egnyte to run across any content repository, on–premises as well as in the cloud. Key features include:
- Industry first SaaS data governance solution: Customers can deploy Egnyte in the matter of minutes without the need to deploy costly infrastructure on premises.
- Real–time Alerts: Customers get notified as soon as Egnyte detects issues across multiple content repositories. Custom notifications can be set for different filters as well as notification types can be set (e.g. email, SMS etc.).
- Hybrid – It integrates with cloud and on–premises file repositories such as SharePoint, Windows File Servers etc.
- Open – It works across content repositories including other EFSS solutions and integrates with 3rd party (partner) apps such as AD, SSO and more.
